WhatsApp is now enabling migration from Android to iOS. This is how it's done.

The popular social media platform WhatsApp has just revealed that users will be able to transfer their data from Android to iPhone.
Since 2021, users of the Meta-owned chat platform have been able to switch from iOS to Android, but not the other way around.

Users can move their account information, profile picture, individual conversations, group chats, chat history, saved media, and settings from an Android device to an iOS device.

Only if (and when) customers manually generate an iCloud backup will the transmitted data be posted to the cloud service.

Transfer Conditions:

Before users can switch from Android to iOS, they must meet number of prerequisites, according to WhatsApp, including.

Using an Android smartphone with Android Lollipop, SDK 21 or higher, or Android or higher

Using new smartphone with WhatsApp iOS 2.22.10.70 or later

Using WhatsApp on an outdated device with Android 2.22.7.24 or later

Use the same phone number on both devices and keep it consistent.

To connect with the Move to iOS app and transfer data from your Android device, the iPhone you are moving to must be brand-new or factory-reset.

power source must be connected to both devices.

The Android device must be connected to the iPhone's hotspot or both devices must be connected to the same WiFi network.
